Empowering Through Education: The SheCodes Foundation is dedicated to supporting Afghan women residing in Afghanistan and female refugees by providing them with the opportunity to learn coding skills at no cost. This initiative aims to empower Afghan women and refugees residing in Afghanistan with valuable technical skills to help them overcome the barriers they face in job training and education.

Free Coding Workshops for 2,000 Participants: Through the generous support of the SheCodes Foundation, they are excited to offer 2,000 Afghan women and refugees the chance to learn coding for free. Given the significant challenges that Afghan women and refugees encounter, such as restricted access to education and financial services, this program offers a lifeline for many. With only 7% of Afghan women owning a financial account and more than 2 million Afghan refugees having to rebuild their lives in unfamiliar surroundings, the opportunity to gain coding skills is invaluable.
