DAFI scholarships for the educated Afghan refugee youth

Good News for the educated Afghan refugee youth! No more hassle of learning about DAFI Plus and DAFI scholarships from different sources.

We are pleased to announce that on behalf of @GIZ Pakistan, Inspire is launching the DAFI Plus Portal – a platform designed for the educated Afghan refugee youth and especially for the DAFI Plus trainees, DAFI scholars and alumni to network, learn about the programs and events and remain connected to Inspire Pakistan. Stay up-to-date with the latest announcements, resources and information related to DAFI Plus and the DAFI scholarship. Alumni as well as current scholars and trainees can sign up and join the members-only portal. Let’s stay connected, create a better future, and celebrate the success together.

DAFI Plus is being implemented on behalf of GIZ by Inspire Pakistan in Islamabad, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta.

Eligibility Criteria for DAFI-Plus

*Proof of Registration (POR) card holders residing in Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Karachi, Quetta or Peshawar*

Age 17-28

Minimum education: Higher Secondary School Certificate/Intermediate for Digital Skills Training and BA/B.Sc (graduation). for On-the-Job Training, and not previously participated in DAFI+ pilot project, and second phase.

Preferably be a current or past DAFI scholar (2021-2022), or must have applied to the DAFI scholarship (2021-2022) – meeting the minimum criteria of educational requirements but receiving the scholarship

Preferably should not be the beneficiary of the previous rounds of DAFI Plus (2018-2019 and 2020-2021)

Should preferably have access to a computer or a laptop

Should ideally have access to internet

Must be committed to participating and completing the training.
