IASBS Iran Scholarships for Afghan and International Students

The Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) in Zanjan, offers a master’s degree scholarship in physics for Afghan students. This two-year scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, health insurance, and a monthly stipend of 100 euros for living expenses. Additionally, recipients can access subsidized on-campus dining facilities facilitated by the Ministry of Science.

Requirements

All applicants are requested to provide:

• A BSc degree (applying for a Master´s degree),
• Completed application form,
• Two letters of recommendation from individuals who can attest to your educational capabilities (to be sent directly by the recommender to international [at] iasbs.ac.ir),
• A copy of official transcripts translated into English,
• A copy of the applicant´s passport, and
• A passport size photograph.

The tuition fees are as follows ($US per year):

• $1500 for the citizens of Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and African countries
• $2000 for the citizens of India, Pakistan and other Central Asian countries
• $4000 for other countries.

Scholarships and Educational Awards
