2024/2025 Gerda Henkel Fellowships

The 2024/2025 Gerda Henkel Fellowships, supported by the Gerda Henkel Stiftung and organized by the Centre for Advanced Study Sofia (CAS Sofia), invite applications for five-month in-residence fellowships. Open to PhD holders from specified countries incloding Afghanistan, these fellowships aim at supporting fundamental historical research in social sciences and humanities. Fellows receive a stipend, accommodation, travel support, and research allowances. Applications require a proposal, two recommendation letters, and should be submitted in English by March 31, 2024. Selection is based on academic quality and the innovative potential of the research proposal.
