Japan Recognizes 114 More Refugees from Afghanistan
جاپان 114 پناهجوی دیگر از افغانستان را به رسمیت شناخت
منابع دولتی روز چهارشنبه گفتند که دولت جاپان به 114 نفر دیگر که پس از تسلط طالبان بر این کشور در اگوست 2021 از افغانستان گریخته اند، وضعیت پناهندگی داده است.
این یکی از بزرگترین گروه های مردمی است که تا به حال به عنوان پناهنده در جاپان به رسمیت شناخته شده است.
به گفته این منابع، 114 نفر از کارکنان سابق دفتر محلی آژانس همکاری بین المللی جاپان و اعضای خانواده آنها هستند. آژانس خدمات مهاجرت این تصمیم را در روزهای دوشنبه و سه شنبه به آنها اطلاع داد.
وضعیت پناهندگی به آنها این اجازه می دهد که به عنوان ساکنین طولانی مدت در جاپان باقی بمانند و شرایط دریافت اقامت دائم را برایشان ساده تر سازند.
دولت بر اساس اطلاعاتی مبنی بر اینکه طالبان کارگران سفارت های آمریکا و اروپا را تحت آزار و اذیت قرار می دهند، به صورت بشردوستانه با 114 نفر برخورد کرده است.
The Japanese government has given refugee status to 114 more people who fled Afghanistan after the Taliban took over the country in August 2021, government sources said Wednesday.
It is one of the largest groups of people ever to be recognized as refugees in Japan at once.
According to the sources, the 114 are former employees of the local office of the Japan International Cooperation Agency and their family members. The Immigration Services Agency notified them of the decision on Monday and Tuesday.
The refugee status will allow them to stay in Japan as long-term residents and lower the requirements for them to obtain permanent residency.
The government treated the 114 people collectively on humanitarian grounds, based on information that the Taliban were persecuting U.S. and European embassy workers.
