The Canadian Ministry of Immigration has recently announced the transfer of over 300 Afghan refugees from Pakistan to Canada via a chartered flight, continuing the trend of relocating Afghan citizens.
This announcement was made by the ministry on Wednesday, February 6th through its social media platform X, indicating that 304 Afghan refugees were successfully relocated to Canada on a chartered flight.
Additionally, the Canadian Immigration Ministry has stated that the newly transferred migrants have been relocated to the city of Toronto.
Furthermore, the ministry has clarified that these migrants are expected to be dispersed across 27 different locations throughout Canada.
In the meantime, the Canadian Immigration Ministry has disclosed that Canada has already resettled 47,110 Afghan citizens in the country.
Meanwhile, hundreds of Afghan citizens who fled to neighbouring countries following the resurgence of the Taliban regime are still awaiting resettlement in countries such as Canada, where their immigration cases are being processed.
It is noteworthy that following the increase in the expulsion of Afghan migrants from Pakistan, Canada has intensified the process of transferring migrants to that country.
The relocation efforts signify Canada’s ongoing commitment to providing refuge and support to Afghan nationals amidst the evolving situation in their home country.
As Canada continues to facilitate the relocation process, it underscores the importance of international cooperation and support for displaced populations seeking safety and stability.
