About FORUM-ASIA: We’re FORUM-ASIA, a leading Asian human rights network dedicated to empowering Human Rights Defenders (HRDs) across the region.
Your Role: As our HRD Programme Associate, you’ll be instrumental in implementing our HRD Programme, providing essential support and protection to HRDs facing risks in Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in programme management and coordination.
- Provide rapid response assistance to HRDs in crisis, focusing on Women HRDs in Myanmar and Afghanistan.
- Contribute to case management and maintain our HRD Portal.
- Support in organizing forums, workshops, and field missions.
- Engage in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Rights or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in human rights advocacy.
- Knowledge of human rights issues in crisis contexts, with gender sensitivity.
- Fluency in English and a language spoken in Myanmar or Afghanistan.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
